The *Original* Smokehouse Pit BBQ is back! 

Originally opened in the late 1980s by Don McLeod, Smokehouse has stood for excellence in BBQ. Don’s daughter, Laura, continued its award-winning tradition for many years. Smokehouse Pit BBQ was granted the *original Smokehouse master recipes* to ensure the quality and freshness that delighted so many over the years. 

What makes Smokehouse special? Five closed brick pits. High quality, hand-pulled meats to retain exceptional flavor and moisture. Freshly-cut hickory wood that circulates the succulent pork, chicken, turkey, brisket and ribs smoke within the brick pits for up to 12 hours. Translation? Well, the most flavorful BBQ around.   

Our menu consists of southern staples like our *Famous BBQ Beans*, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Macaroni & Cheese, Crinkle-Cut and Sweet Potato Fries, Collard Greens, Fried Okra, Corn on the Cob and Beer Battered Onion Rings. Our loaded fries are a local favorite. The "secret sauce" will leave you wanting more. Our ‘Q Stew made with our smoked pulled pork is always in demand. Smokehouse Wings are both smoked and flash-fried. Available in *11* sauces:  Medium and Hot Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Garlic Parmesan and Honey BBQ ... plus, our five additional house made BBQ sauces. And now, a full bar with 6 Draft Beer Taps and Bottled Beer and plenty of liquor options to suit your fancy. Drop by and start your day off right with a breakfast bowl or a buttery biscuit piled high with sausage gravy. For lunch, our Meat and 3 special gets you plenty of bang for your buck with 6 different meat options daily and your choice of 3 sides. Made fresh daily are our mouthwatering desserts:  Banana Pudding, Peach Cobbler and made-from-scratch Blue Ribbon Pies. No matter what you choose from our menu,  you are sure to be satisfied!
